VERSATILE beat-maker, Tawanda “Jusa Dementor” Sibotshiwe has hit the high note following the production of a banging new remix to Alexandra Burke’s latest single, Ooh La La.
late been steadily and earnestly building a bulging catalogue of Afro-Pop numbers under the Afrobeats Warehouse stable.
Now the Derby-based Purple Hayzzz Riddim producer has enticed X Factor winner Burke to ride on one of his beats. Trading verses with the UK Pop star on the track is Nigeria’s self-styled “Queen of Afrobeats”, May7ven, to deliver an exciting and pulsating dance cut driven by lush drum patterns and layers of synths.
The new Ooh La La remix takes some inspiration from the 90’s classic dance track, Gypsy Woman (1991) sung by Crystal Waters, and is taken off Burke’s forthcoming EP, #NewRules.
Ooh La La received its première earlier in the week on Choice FM. Though a release date has not been confirmed yet, May7ven did confirm a “steamy” video for Ooh La La is coming very soon.
